Norafiqah Ismail received her master degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2014. During her master, she published 1 indexed paper, 1 book, and 1 book chapter. After that she worked as research officer in Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre. She contributed in several industrial projects such as Development of 0.5 MLD Desalination System at Kelantan, Malaysia, Membrane Bioreactor Sewage Water Treatment Project in collaboration with Kubota Japan Corporation and Membrane for Crude Palm Oil Refining in collaboration with Sime Darby Research Sdn. Bhd. Since May 2019 she joined Nordic Membrane Laboratory to pursue her Ph. D. study.
Norafiqah Ismail was born in Johor (Malaysia) in 1989. She received her Master degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2014. After she completed her master studies, she was appointed as a research officer at Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre, UTM. She has over 4 years of experience working on fabrication of polymeric membrane mainly focuses on hollow fiber membrane preparation for water/wastewater applications. She also involved in operating highly sophisticated instruments such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), zeta potential, Mercury Porosimetry and many others. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD studies at the Department of Chemistry, Umeå University, Sweden.
